Insight into The Invasion

Who are the characters on the Cover?

The ‘new’ characters on the front of the book are the holders of the Strength and Magic Stones. The first part of The Invasion goes back in time a little and is told from their perspective. They cross paths with Kaz and P in sequences that happened in Book 1: The Exile. I think those chapters are really fun and will be exciting for the fans of The Exile. I hope people will grab their copies of The Exile and find enjoyment rereading those parts.

The feel of The Invasion:

I loved writing The Exile, and I felt like it worked very well for an introduction to the kingdom of Denall. However, because we saw the world mainly from the perspective of Kaz and his friends, we didn’t see much magic. Now that we understand how things work in Denall, I felt like I could really focus on having a fun adventure, and really get into the story of the Stones of Power. The Invasion has more action, and more magic than The Exile, and I think that is reflected very well on the cover.

I will continue to share news about The Invasion as we move to the release date.
